RETIRED APPARATUS

Engine 43 was a 1963 IH/Maxim pumper. It was equipped with a 750 gpm pump and a 1000 gallon tank. It was retired and sold in 1990. Whereabouts are unknown.

Brush 442 was a 1948 military surplus Dodge Power Wagon that was converted by members of the department around 1977 and was retired around 1990.

Engine 443 was a 1967 IH/John Bean High Pressure Fog engine. It had a 250 gallon tank, a 70 gpm high pressure (700psi) pump. It was retired in the mid 1980's and sold.

Engine 42 replaced Engine 443 and was a 1984 IH/Amthor. It was equipped with a 500 gpm power take off pump and a 500 gallon tank. This truck later served a our rescue truck before being sold in 1992 to a department in Colorado.

Engine 41 was the first "real" fire apparatus the department owned. It was a 1941 Ford/Buffalo and was equipped with a 500 gpm pump and a 500 gallon tank. It was retied in the early 1980's and sold to Chief at the time for $401. It was later sold again and it's wherebouts are unknown. We would appreciate any info on the status and location of this apparatus as we would like to have it back if possible. It was located in early 2012. After changing hands several times it was purchased and is being converted into a custom pickup.

Brush Engine 413 was a 1978 military surplus Dodge Power Wagon. It was equipped with a skid unit that had a 250 gpm pump and a 250 gallon tank. It was replaced in 1999 and became a Chief's vehicle for about a year before being turned back in to the DEM.

This was our first rescue truck. It was a 1974 IH school bus that was donated by a local bus company and converted by members. It was put into service in 1985 and remained in service for about 7 years. It was then donated to a local boy scout troop.

Rescue 462 is a 2000 Trophy Center Console. It was retired and sold.

Rescue 400 is a 1976/2000 Ferrara/Saulsbury 18' walk-in stlye heavy rescue. Originally a 1976 Ford/Saulsbury from Brighton, NY, we had Ferrara put a new Spartan chassis under the truck in 2000. It is equipped with a 25kw hydraulic generator, light tower, Hurst extrication tools, air bags, water and ice rescue equipment, rope rescue equipment, and much more. It was retired and sold in  2012.
